According to its website, Jefferson Township was established in 1834 and is located in Western Wayne County, consisting of 27.61 square miles and over 3200 residents. Jefferson Township partners with the Nettle Creek Community Coalition (NCCC), a local nonprofit corporation, to bring Nettle Creek residents a variety of resources not normally offered through most townships. We offer a weekly food & personal care pantry at our office. We also partner with several other Wayne County agencies offering health assistance and other resources.
